![]() Healing Balm modifier is for healing critical wounds only afair. If you want to know your base value reset the character at character creation so no skills are changed.Ģ. weapon skills maximum = base value + level + 3 (please do not confuse your starting value with base value). Originally posted by Krovoc:Instead of making several threads, which is really how this should be done, I'm going to keep things clean and make one.ġ. ![]() I didn't pay much attention to what could be parried and what not, but attacking is definitely more useful. I don't remember having any problems casting Stardust, so I don't know what is causing that.Ħ. Two-handed axes are crap though, if I remember correctly.ĥ. I think axes and the Fatal Thrust weapons may also be better than either swords or sabers, but you can use pretty much whatever you want, especially since your other team members need weapons too. Also you can find the DLC code to get a good sword in the beginning if you don't think that's cheating. What weapons you can find for them in the game, and which special moves do you want? From what I can remember, sabers are easier to find, but the best swords are slightly better. The biggest differences between weapon skills in general are 2 things. I don't know about this, I only ever use the strength spell and haven't looked at the actual numbers.Ĥ. At least you can add bigger modifiers to them later on if you put them on the quick bar and click on the plus symbol.ģ. Some or maybe even all spells do improve based on level I think. ![]() Someone wrote a detailed description of how the system works, which I can't remember outright, but stats matter more than the skills.Ģ. The weapon skills aren't as important as you may think, though. It's not a bug, they just work like that. Well, I'm not an expert in the game, but I'll tell you what I know.ġ. For a game mechanic (in this case parry) to only be useful in special circumstances seems like a bad design choice. Nearly all incoming attacks fall under this catagory. I'm getting quite a few "PA not possible" which is really annoying since I built my main character thinking that I could builld PA instead of DV. My understanding is that when in melee, you may parry one attack per round that isn't a back attack, unless it's an ability like Precision Strike that explicitly states that it can't be parried. ![]() I mean, for instance, the difference between Sword's PA and AT is 3 and I can't increase PA, which is the higher of the two.Įdit: Also, what is the difference between Sword and Saber, aside from Saber being cheaper to upgrade, and Sword having Precision Strike?Įdit2: And Stardust isn't letting me target anything.Įdit3: "PA not possible" when engaged in melee. I don't mean I can't make it more than 5, that's normal. Lastly, for some of my weapon talents, I can't make the difference between AT and PA 5. Fayris, with SP of 10 in Attributio Agility, only boosts Agility by 3, instead of the expected 4, with this spell. ![]() Agility) spells aren't working as expected. Second, Healing Balm seems to max out on it's modifiers at some point based on level, but the in-game description doesn't mention one. Is this normal, or some sort of bug? It isn't some kind of advantage (like sword bonus) and nothing is blue indicating some kind of magical bonus. Instead of making several threads, which is really how this should be done, I'm going to keep things clean and make one.įirst, the weapons that I started out with as trained seem to max out one level above those I learned from trainers. ![]()
